Just in case you've missed Codebits 2011, the launch of SAPO Panoramas was one of the stars of the event. We even featured a live demo involving a giant 25 by 4 meter long projection screen and a Kinect based navigation interface.
Some of the members of the team gave a talk about this project called "Panoramas: a guided tour".
But it doesn't end here. They took the time and shot a great panorama of the Codebits main room, on site, using the same equipment and methodology as the real thing.
It's online right now. Take a tour and the main room.
UPDATE: The Main Stage is now available too.
Kudos. We'll have more news soon, keep watching this blog.
The SAPO Fotos team just keeps on giving, and this time around we're awarding prizes for the best details you spot in our amazing new panorama photography site.
All you need to do is up upload a screenshot of the panorama detail to SAPO Fotos with the tags "codebits2011" and "eagleeye" until 17:00 today, and post a link to it here in the comments. The best photos will be awarded prizes, and we'll announce the winners by then.
You get bonus points for providing a description of how and where you found things.
P.S.: There may or may not be some Easter Eggs hidden in those panoramas, so make sure you look hard...
P.S.S.: Please reply to this post and leave a link to the photo in the comments section. Yes, we know, there are entirely too many "codebits2011" photgraphs out there, but that's a good thing!
