SAPO is about to launch the brand new SAPO Widgets, which will allow people to effortlessly develop widgets and have them being automatically displayed on its list.

The team responsible for this project is going to be present at Codebits (one of them is giving a talk) and would like to encourage the developers to take half an hour to try to develop a widget using the platform. Building widgets with the platform shouldn't take more than an hour or two, which means it can be a nice way for you to take your mind away from a hard problem you may be having with your project by coding a few simple lines.
While Codebits has only one programming contest, we encourage you to create one (or more) widgets for the 24h contest (if it's that easy to create one, imagine what you can do with 24 hours). You can also create widgets without them being for the contest, of course.

The team is looking for Mobile widgets and there's some talking about TMN offering some Androids… ;-)

Have fun!
